The Merriam Visitors Bureau brought home two marketing awards from the Kansas Tourism Conference in October. The Merriam Visitor Guide won best in-house guide (medium budget) for the fourth straight year, and the new website, www.exploremerriam.com won for best online media.
A record number of entries were submitted from destinations across the state this year and judged by a panel of tourism and marketing professionals before the conference.
