  2. Stay in-the-know … sign up for e-Merriam updates, connect on Nextdoor or follow the city socially!
  3. Attend a city council meeting to meet your council representative, learn about what’s happening in Merriam, or, to see how the governance structure works. Meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. *Right now, meetings are held virtually—learn more here!
  4. Take a class, meet friends for Bingo, or join the Merriam Community Center!
  5. Get involved by volunteering! It’s the best way to meet new people and engage with your community. From local events to boards and commissions, if you’ve got the passion, we’ve got the resources to connect you.
