Merriam Community Center Opens this Summer!
Merriam is excited to open our new 66,000-square-foot community center this summer!
Membership provides full access to the facility including 25-yard indoor pool with slides, lazy river, and therapy water; 25-meter outdoor pool with dive boards and zip line; industry-leading fitness equipment; walking/jogging track; full size gym with options for volleyball or pickleball; and space to gather and enjoy coffee and free WiFi. Merriam City Council worked hard to make sure our membership rates are comparable to neighboring cities.

5 a.m. – 9 p.m. Monday – Thursday
5 a.m. – 8 p.m. Friday
8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Saturday*
10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Sunday
*Saturday hours extend until 8 p.m. from Memorial Day to Labor Day so patrons can enjoy the outdoor pool longer!
For children 6 months to 8 years old
8 a.m. – Noon Monday – Friday
4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday – Thursday
8 a.m. – Noon Saturday
Rates for this service will be decided by Merriam City Council.
Monthly memberships and day passes will be available at the front desk upon opening. Rates below go into effect June 8.
Residency & Household Memberships
Residency is defined as someone who resides within the city limits of Merriam or someone who owns taxable real estate within city limits. Proof required with a valid driver’s license or state ID, current city business license, or Notice of Appraised Value issued by the Johnson County Assessor’s Office.
*Household memberships include 2 adults and up to 4 dependent children as defined by the IRS Qualifying Age Rule. Children age 18–24 must provide proof of residency. Additional dependents can be added for a fee.
**Two-Person Household includes two people who live at the same address, one of which must be at least 18 years old.
***Senior Household includes two adults who live at the same address, one of which must be 60 years old.
****Additional Dependent applies to the 6-person Household membership.
Children under 2 are free.
