I-35 Expansion March 20 – November
The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) is widening I-35 between 67th and 75th streets.
KDOT will close the southbound I-35 on- and off-ramps at 75th St. starting March 23. Traffic should detour to Shawnee Mission Parkway.
The northbound I-35 on-ramp at 75th St. will be closed mid-July through November, when KDOT anticipates the project will be complete.
Johnson Drive & Antioch April 13–mid-May
WaterOne work. During Phase 1, northbound Antioch Road will not be able to turn left to go westbound on Johnson Drive, and westbound Johnson Drive will not be able to turn left to go southbound on Antioch Road. Phase 2 will allow northbound Antioch Road traffic to turn left to go westbound on Johnson.
65th St. April 13–24
Traffic will be restricted to one lane during this project.
Johnson Drive April 27–mid-October
This project includes repaving the entire roadway, new curbs and sidewalks, new streetlights, and ADA compliant ramps. There will be partial lane closures throughout the entire project, which should be completed by mid-October, weather permitting.
