Join us for the 24th Annual National Heartland Artist Exhibition at the Tim Murphy Art Gallery, Merriam's largest art show of the year. This national show draws artists from all over the United States. On Saturday, March 7, from 5-7 p.m. enjoy outstanding art, live music, hors d’oeuvres and beverages. The awards ceremony is at 6:30 p.m. Show runs March 7 - 28.

The Heartland Artist Exhibition is accepting entries thru Wednesday, January 15, 2020. A maximum of three digital images in jpeg format may be submitted to be juried. The entry fee of $45 is non-refundable and payable to the City of Merriam.
HOW TO ENTER A maximum of three digital images in jpeg format must be submitted to be juried. Entries are accepted via online application, (please temporarily disable your popup blocker before submitting online form) images will be submitted via dropbox and can be no larger than 2MB. After we receive your application will will contact you directly for the entry fee.
You may also enter by mail or in person at the Tim Murphy Art Gallery, Irene B. French Community Center, 5701 Merriam Drive, Merriam, KS 66203. However, all images must be submitted via dropbox with titles. A dropbox link can be emailed directly to you upon request.
MEDIUMS Oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, charcoal, pencil, photography or a mixture of any of the above media.
ELIGIBILITY Artists, age 18 and over, are eligible to enter the exhibition. Original works in oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, charcoal, pencil, photography or a mixture of any of the above media are acceptable. The decision of the juror on all entries is final. All entries must be FOR SALE and remain for the duration of the exhibition at the Tim Murphy Art Gallery, March 7-28, 2020. Works previously exhibited at the Tim Murphy Art Gallery are not eligible for entry.
Exhibition selections will be made from digital images that must arrive with the entry form and fee at the Tim Murphy Art Gallery on or before January 15, 2020. Only juror selected works will be exhibited. The juror for this event is Mr. Nyle Gordon.
