Girls on the Run - Merriam Park & Recreation Team

Tuesday & Thursday, February 26 - May 9 // 5:30-7:00 p.m.
Grab your running shoes and water bottles and join the fun. The program educates and prepares girls, grades 3-5, for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. Learn life lessons through fun, interactive games using a well-researched curriculum. All girls will run/walk in a non-competitive 5K event Saturday, May 4.

Let Me Run - Boys Running Team

Monday & Wednesday, March 25 - May 11 // 5:30-6:45 p.m.
Let Me Run inspires boy through the power of running to be courageous enough to be themselves, to build healthy relationships, and to live an active lifestyle. Compete in the end-of-season 5k on Saturday, May 11.

Preschool Indoor Playground
Visit our magical indoor playground every Tuesday year-round, where it's never rainy, snowing or too hot. Little Tyke riding toys, a kitchen and more! Special activities included near the holidays. Parents must supervise their own children during playground time. 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.; Ages 5 & under; 
$2 per child/per day or punch card available for 10 visits at $10.

Preschool Fitness Day

It's never too early to celebrate health and fitness with your preschooler. In our "Kiddie Fittie" class, we'll use hoops, scarves, balls, and more to encourage balance, coordination, aerobic exercise, and stretching. We'll finish by making a healthy snack. It's a great way to start your youngsters on a healthy foot, so be sure to get your spot today.

TinyTykes - Soccer

TinyTykes is an exciting program that teaches basic soccer skills while focusing on motor skill development, balance, coordination, concentration, listening skills and teamwork of players ages 2-5.

Tri-Star Basketball 

Sunday, Jan. 13 - Feb. 17
1:30-3 p.m.
Team up with the Merriam Optimist Club and learn basic basketball skills. Kids will be instructed on dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, and learning the importance of teamwork. See you courtside!
