The Johnson County Camera Club (JCCC), established in 1963, showcases the work of a talented group of photographers, each with a unique perspective on life. As a collective of artists, we offer an array of images, gathered in shadows and light, from around the Midwest region and beyond. Many of our members exhibit work in individual, group, and juried shows. In collaboration with, and deep appreciation to the Tim Murphy Art Gallery, this exhibition brings together the first collection of images from the members/artists of the Johnson County Camera Club in a single exhibition in over 20 years. As gifted creators of photographs, we strive to continually expand and share our knowledge of the visual arts. The ever-changing field of digital imagery challenges us to open our eyes to the spaces around us, and allow us to express what we have imagined and What We Have Come to Know.
